The four nationally and internationally acclaimed musicians tell stories of beauty, wildness, folly, tenderness, rhythm, melancholy and criticism in a fine chamber music setting. The program “Noanfreiheit” (Fool’s License) is about what has united the four musicians in life and on stage for years: Creating spaces for connection with their music and doing justice to the diversity of the audience. This ensemble breaks down the boundaries between genres. The members come from different musical backgrounds (folk music, jazz, new music, classical and world music). They address even difficult subjects with grace and depth. Combining instruments that have never been played together before, their songs are gifts from the heart.
