Die Goas (the goat) is singular, yet it comes as a pair. Hans-Peter Falkner plays the Styrian button accordion, Markus Binder plays the guitar, both sing. Since 1989, the duo – also known as “Attwenger” – has been playing more traditional repertoire: Boarische, Zwiefache, Waltzes, Landler, etc. They sing Gstanzl, perform old folk songs in revised form and, when the mood is right, tell funny stories. As of recent, Goas has started playing some Attwenger pieces, too.
