The band Jumping Jungle was founded in Vienna in 2019. At that time, there were no opportunities for teenagers to make music together on their own terms. The band was founded as a creative space where its members could play the music they liked and decide independently what direction the project was to take. In the beginning, Jumping Jungle consisted of just three members, but gradually more and more teenagers joined, bringing a wide variety of instruments to the table. Currently, the group consists of eight friends between the ages of twelve and sixteen. All of them are essential for the group structure and sound. They play every member’s favorite music. This repertoire ranges from jazz to soul and funk to groove. Working on different music projects not only ensures diversity but also means that Jumping Jungle is always learning new things and constantly evolving. New musicians are always welcome to join the band.
