As one of Finland's most successful musical exports, Frigg has become one of the top acts in folk music. The band combines life-affirming and moving melodies with a precise and tight playing technique. Named after the Norse goddess of love and fertility, Frigg is said to have created their own style of music. “Nordgrass” combines Scandinavian folk and American bluegrass, appealing to folk, world music and classical music fans alike. For these seven musicians folk music is not just a joie de vivre, but also definitely party music to dance to. Their virtuoso interplay of violins and mandolin, guitar and double bass is brought to life with a driven and perfectly coordinated show and delights audiences and the press across the world. Over the years, Frigg has played concerts in more than 30 countries and released eleven albums.
