Heidemarie Egger is an expert on inclusive public relations and a coach for women with disabilities. She has been head of the PR department for the Independent Monitoring Committee on the Implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities since 2023. That same year she founded of the FmB – association for women with disabilities (Interessenvertretung Frauen* mit Behinderung), of which she is also the chairwoman. She has also been a board member of the NINLIL association for empowerment and consultation for women with disabilities since 2022. In the years leading up to this, Heidemarie Egger expanded her expertise in this field while working for the Austrian Disability Council among other things. In this capacity she founded and headed up a team of experts focusing on the rights of women with disabilities.
